Mercle is now building a proof of personhood solution. But it was not always building this. Being one of the core/early employees, I can lay out the journey.

Not offchain Discord/Twitter shitshow. We brought liquidity for protocols. Locked in clients like XION, Linea, Movement Labs, Vaultcraft. Users received more than $150,000 as airdrops, company received more than $200,000.

Scaled from 20,000 to 130,000 followers. Was the face of Mercle on Twitter and everywhere. Got viral 3-4 times.

If you ask me a GTM strategy today, I would probably try to sit and farm airdrops. Because GTM is not a one-week work, but a series of steps you take to achieve the goal.
One-time revenue-generating campaign. Content creation, KOL onboarding (3-4, organic growth), user feedback loop and UX changes per observing hours of user actions on the app.
Minted by around 2,000 minters. It all compounds, from MBADGEs (onchain liquidity sourcing) to proof of personhood narrative.
Onchain reputation-based review system for pre-TGE and post-TGE projects.
Scaled Discord from 3,000 to 35,000 in 6 months. Though Discord should not even exist in crypto. Twitter is the biggest platform.
